Arcadia Halogen Basking Spot lamps are bright, crisp and designed to inspire natural basking behaviours for captive kept reptiles. These powerful lamps heat up quickly and are IR-A rich. They are all handmade in a single partner factory under a bespoke design. They are sturdy and energy efficient with highly insulated glass and metal reflector-built in. A targeted beam over a wider area means that heat is provided across your pets basking area more efficiently warming the entire body at once, replicating what they would experience in their natural environment. The use of a thick tungsten filament inside a sealed halogen gas tube, halogen lamps produce more light and heat than standard lamps. This is then maximised using robust glass (IR Blocking) insulation and impactful reflection. All genuine Arcadia Halogen Basking Spot lamps are suitable for use with genuine dimming thermostats, and it is our strong recommendation that you use an excellent quality thermostat which include effective probes. Available in four different wattages, 35w, 50w, 75w and 100w: 35w is Arcadia’s newest design, providing the most energy efficient Halogen lamp and is sufficient to replace the standard 50-75w tungsten bulbs. The 50w is designed to be sufficient to replace the standard 50-75 tungsten bulbs. The 75w is designed to be sufficient to replace the standard 100w tungsten lamp and the 100w is sufficient to be able to replace up to 150w bulb.
