HabiStat Coir Substrate is a 100% natural, burrowing substrate that is suitable for all reptile species, amphibians and invertebrates which are native to more humid environments. Coir is derived from coconut husk and is harvested from sustainable resources, the coir is soft as to aid with burrowing, it releases water slowly to keep humidity levels high and contains Lignin to prevents rotting, thus allowing it to be used when wet.  Directions for Use: Cover the base of the enclosure with a thick, even layer of the substrate ensuring a depth of 2″ (5cm). Avoid overfilling if using with underfloor heating.  Spot clean daily and replace regularly.
